Arrival & departure
Accommodation may not be ready for new arrivals until 3pm. However, you are welcome to arrive earlier and use the facilities within the Hotel. We ask that departing guests vacate their rooms by 12 noon. Likewise, you may make use of the facilities at Aquarias Spa on the day or arrival and the day of check out.
The Dining Room is our Fine Dining restaurant and is open Wednesday – Sunday for dinner only. Grey’s, our Swiss-interior style Brasserie, is open for lunch and dinner daily and offers a less formal dining experience. If you know that you will be dining with us, we suggest that you reserve a table in advance in order to avoid disappointment. Please advise us prior to your arrival of any specific dietary requirements or food allergies.
There is no dress code in the hotel but we ask that guests dress appropriately at all times and refrain from relaxing in bathrobes in any public areas other than the Spa. The dress code when dining in our restaurants is smart casual, no jacket or tie is required. However we ask that guests refrain from wearing sportswear.
Spa Aquarias is open to hotel residents and a limited non-resident membership. We recommend that you book an appointment with a therapist prior to arrival in order to avoid any disappointment. If you are unsure of your treatment choice, please book a time slot. Your treatment selection can be made later. However please note that some treatments (as indicated in the brochure) require at least 24 hours’ notice and cannot be booked at short notice. The Spa Aquarias direct line is 01666 827070.
Whatley Manor welcomes children from the age of 12 years.
Please note that teenagers from the age of 16 are welcome to make use of the spa facilities.
Some rooms can accommodate dogs and will be prepared before arrival with a luxury dog basket, food and treats and a welcome gift. Please note there is a charge of £30 per dog per night to cover all the above and the additional cleaning requirements after your departure.
One of our rooms has been specially designed to accommodate guests with restricted mobility. Please advise us of any other disability so that we can assist with special requirements wherever possible.
There is a personal safe in all rooms and suites; however the hotel is not able to accept responsibility for your valuables unless left with the Duty Manager who will issue you with a receipt for your items whilst they are held in the hotel safe. We advise you not to leave valuables in your car. Please note that we are not held responsible for loss or damage of valuables or the car.
