Bee News

Our Bee hives have been on site at Whatley since late Summer 2019, this means they have of course lately enjoyed having the gardens to themselves over the last year and we now have an abundance of  Whatley Honey.

As part of a regular hive checks our expert Bee keeper made an inspection this week whilst the weather was warm.

Happy to report all is well and our Whatley Bees are thriving. They will soon be enjoying the abundance of flowers across our gardens specifically to encourage pollination.

Did you know that Bees pollinate 75% of our main food crops worldwide, including some of our favourite produce like apples, strawberries and tomatoes, Bees and other pollinators play a crucial role in the future of our wellbeing, and the fight against climate and nature breakdown.
