Green shoots of recovery and planning to welcome you back to Whatley

An update – 22nd May 2020

Dear Friends of Whatley,

So much has changed since the day in March when we paused our Whatley hospitality to adhere to the new rules of lockdown life. We have all had our lives altered to varying degrees by Covid 19 but a most beautiful spring has brought some positivity amidst the havoc.  As we have all reduced our travel, the planet has had an opportunity to recover a little and perhaps the glorious weather is a thank you for that respite.

Travel is a joy in life and one that we are all looking forward to beginning again one day. Over the last few months planning future escapes has been almost as exciting as the experience itself and we do hope very much that in the coming weeks we will all be able to think about turning our getaway dreams into reality.

The conversation around emerging from lockdown is gathering momentum for the hospitality industry and here at Whatley we are putting great care into the formulation of plans that will allow us to welcome you back in the months ahead.

We so want to share our beautiful gardens with you, open up the opportunity for you to travel, be somewhere different and feel safe and well cared for and enjoy once again the experience of travel in the easiest and most relaxing way possible.

Over the coming weeks we will share our plans with you and outline how and when we will re-open with a completely Covid compliant version of the Whatley experience. The welfare of our guests and our team will be our first priority and we will only open again when we are confident that our systems and processes will keep us all safe and well.

When the day comes for you to visit us again you will do so in the knowledge that your experience will be exceptional on every level.  Until then we send you our very best, wishes, stay well, stay safe and we so look forward to being able to welcome you back before too long.

Keep safe and well.

Sue Williams,

General Manager and the Whatley family
