Temporary closure of Whatley Manor Hotel and Spa, Saturday 21st March 2020

Dear Whatley friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that Whatley Manor is closing on Saturday 21st March until further notice following the Prime Ministers advice. The current global COVID-19 situation is like nothing any of us have experienced before.

We have been constantly monitoring and adhering to the governments daily updates to ensure the health and safety of our guests and the team. However, currently we have no other option than to close to further protect them. For now, we will take each day as it comes and work towards re-opening when the time is right.

We will be in touch with you if you have not already heard from one of us to reschedule your room reservation for stays up to 31st May, or if you prefer, a full refund will be made. Reservations from June onwards will remain in place until we know more. If you would like to speak to us please call 01666 822 888.

In the meantime, we will keep in touch via our social media channels and newsletters, sharing the news of Executive Chef, Niall Keating’s progress in Great British Menu, uplifting views of our gardens and snippets of Whatley news.

The property will always be occupied by our residential staff, lucky them they get Whatley to themselves! They will keep the grass cut and the gardens in order so that we can look our very best for when you return.

We look forward to that time when we’re all through this, and we can warmly welcome you to Whatley again. Thank you all for your support, in these challenging times.

Keep safe and well.

Sue Williams,

General Manager and the Whatley family
