Nature Inspired Ceramic Making with Sonya Wilkins 16th September
Day commences at 10.00am

Under the expert guidance of Sonya Wilkins, founder of ‘Ceramics Inspired by Nature’ you will learn how to make your own unique leaf serving platter or dish using clay and a foraged leaves from the grounds of Whatley Manor (or bring your own favourite leaf). Sonya will bring some of the lily leaves with her to use as inspiration as well. You will learn the process of hand-building with clay slabs, decoration techniques and how to achieve that perfect artisan finish. Sonya will then fire & glaze your unique piece in her studio, ready for your collection from Whatley Manor three weeks after the workshop.
