Whatley’s Head Gardener, Andy Spreadbury, manages a successful kitchen garden producing food for our menus. Discover his top tips for successful planting and growing year-round.

The day begins with coffee then a tour of the gardens and green houses and discussion on planting at Whatley.

Over lunch Andy will share his knowledge of the best varieties and nutrients for your plants. In the afternoon there will be a practical session planting seeds to take home with you. By the end of the day you will have enough knowledge to start your own successful kitchen garden.
