Niall Keating and the Whatley team – Obsession 19 at Northcote Manor.
Established by Nigel Haworth in 2001 Obsession has become one of Europe’s premier gastronomic events. Some of the best chef’s from across the globe travel to participate, taking over the Northcote kitchen with their own kitchen brigade for one night to deliver a unique Obsession menu.
The event has grown year on year and for chef’s it is a huge privilege to be part of the experience. Whilst the size and scale of the event has increased the ethos is still very much the same, to offer a memorable culinary experience delivered by acclaimed chefs. This year’s event included 17 chef’s over 16 nights and a total of 15 Michelin stars.
For Niall and his team, taking part provided an opportunity to showcase their skills and food to a new audience. The feedback was exceptional, Niall Keating and The Dining Room team have left a food legacy in this corner of Lancashire.
