Active Meditation Retreat

Spring Awakening – March Dates:

  • Wednesday 11th March
  • Thursday 12th March
  • Saturday 14th March
  • Sunday 15th March

Get ready to thrive in 2026 with wellness expert, Maria Parvati as she guides you with her practical approach to holistic wellness on this one or two day retreat (you choose one or two days). Spring is the perfect season for new beginnings – a time to plant the seeds for forming new habits.

You will come away  with the knowledge to establish an enjoyable and sustainable home practice. By the time you leave something will have shifted. A renewed sense of joy, a strengthened sense of self, and positive momentum that continues to unfold throughout the year ahead.

During the retreat Maria will introduce active meditations to get the life force energy moving around the body resulting in a more expansive way of being, essentially returning you to access more joy and happiness. This means that you won’t be sat down all of the time.

There will be times for movement and times for stillness. Everybody can do this type of bio-energy active meditation, you do not need to be flexible or stand in advanced postures, yet you can have life-force-energy activated with these simple practices.

In addition to the active meditations, Maria will guide you in gentle breathwork, hands-on (optional) healing, a shamanic healing ritual where old habits can be released and where you can foster new ones to fully embody your best self.

There will also be sound baths for deep relaxation and integration.

Being in Mother nature is part of your re-alignment, and the 12 acres of English country gardens including woodland walks down to the river will enable you to reset your nervous system.

This event can be booked as a residential or experienced as a day guest. Book to stay and receive a 10% discount off room rates. However if you want to stay elsewhere there are other options within a short drive away, in Malmesbury, Tetbury, Sherston and surrounding villages.

TESTIMONIALS

Find out more about the active meditation experience by reading the testimonials of guests who joined previously.

Sue Baxter, Guest of Whatley Manor:

“It was great. I actually haven’t done any meditation properly before. I find it really difficult to clear my mind and today with all the different ways that you did, with the shaking, and the mantras, it was really good. My body, my mind, everything feels more peaceful and just lifted, which is great when there is so many difficult things going on in the world at the moment. It was really enjoyable and I’d like to do more.”
