Running through the grounds of Whatley Manor is the River Avon, the river and its banks are home to a wide variety of wildlife, birds and fish.
Our talented garden team decided to make a Bird Hide for guests to enjoy some quiet contemplation of the wildlife in their natural habitat. Built entirely from up-cycled and recycled materials it has become a perfect spot for guests to enjoy a few quiet moments. Set on the banks of the river, guests can observe the birds, wildlife and insects as they go about their daily activities. Look out for kingfishers, ducks, water voles, dragonflies and a wide variety of birds across the seasons.
